SFM Torino – Part 4
Fourth video of the To-Ba route extension.
In this part the approximately 40 km were completed between the Turin Dora station and Ceres. The line is managed by the GTT, transport company of Turin city.
The route includes the future connection between the line itself and the rest of the Turin node starting from the Fossata-Rebaudengo station.
SFM Torino – Part 3
Third part of the SFM torino, under construction.
In this portion, additional 16 km from Pinerolo to Torre Pellice have been completed. This portion is not in use anymore, and in theory not part of the SFM Torino, but for completeness I decided to realize it.
SFM Torino – Part 2
Second portion of the route SFM Torino.
In this video, is shown the portion between Sangone and Pinerolo, for ca 32 km.
Route Torino – Bardonecchia Part 5
In this last movie from the route, the newly created part is shown (asked by some friends) and that connects Bardonecchia to Modane, via the Frejus tunnel.
SFM Torino – Part 1
This is the first complete test driving session of the Torino-Bardonecchia extension. This will be a new separated route, called Turin Metropolitan Rail Service (SFM in italian), that will of course include the Torino-Bardonecchia. This last therefore will be, once published, finished in terms of development.
Movie shows the portion (ca 85km) until now already quite completed between Chivasso and Asti, passing throug Turin area. The portion from Villanova to S. Damiano is carry-overed by the beautiful route Torino-Genova, and only tuned for tracks type and signals to be more similar to the To-Ba.
