The first operative post to show the extension of the route.
The basic idea other than connect to Bardonecchia, was to build all the Turin area, including the important yards of Orbassano and Drosso. I have therefore created all Turin stations beyond the pre-existing ones of Porta Nuova and Lingotto. The new stations / yards are those of Porta Susa, Re-Rebaudengo, both underground and Stura, approach station in Turin from Milan. A station under construction called New Dora Station has also been designed, which in the plans will replace the current Dora Station that connects Turin to Caselle but is disconnected from the main railway line.
Toward Bardonecchia the deviation to Orbassano has been created. The Orbassano freight terminal is currently in a reduced activity status compared to the 80-90s of the last century, but I decided to create the old and complete track system to give more flexibility and experience to the scenario creator.
From Orbassano there is the small deviation towards Fiat’s Drosso yard, which still serves the loading and unloading of vehicles and materials used by the Fiat Mirafiori’s historic factory.
